Never anywhere near I live :(

If I got free attendance, i'd see all the bands i'd never pay to see - I'd probably see the poppiest acts on the lineup and tick boxes. What most people attending seem to do.

wonder where next years event will be... North East, Yorkshire or Midlands seem good bets... but then they might go somewhere like Cornwall or Portsmouth to bring it back to the south after a few years away

There isn't enough space for it in Portsmouth

Dunno how Lily at Reading would go down....

surprised she isn't doing T though, how did that happen.

Think she would do well tbh... Although she is a pop act is she any more so then the likes of Imagine Dragons or Bastille which had big crowds??

She has that same sing along factor that Frank Turner has at R&L which is great when drunk. Also it helps that her lyrics are witty and clever not boring pop music you get

Can someone confirm whether Lily Allen writes her own songs or not?

I've heard conflicting stories

I believe she does. as she has in the past criticized others for not doing that... She also spent alot of time explaining the meaning of her music (suggesting she at least co wrote them)

By her own admission, Allen does not have the most amazing voice in pop; nor is she an incredible musician, although she knows her way around a guitar and a piano. ‘The only thing I can do really is write lyrics,’ she says.

    • Zero chance of Primavera. Zero. Wrong festival.
    • If Reform do win in Makerfield then I think they're nailed on to win the next election, and labour will implode. Simple as that.
    • Bit close...if enough of those Restore votes go to Reform...
