Yeah it's pretty disappointing, gonna listen to it on XFM on Monday though, see how well it translates

Yeah, I'll probably do the same seeing as I'll most probably see a good chunk of their set at Werchter between Eels and Jack Johnson

I'll be seeing the full set for with my mate as they're one of his favourite bands, in return he has to watch three hours of Pearl Jam with me 8)

totally worth it. Got a bootleg of PJ's 2006 Toronto show a few days ago and by god it's fantastic.

Arctics were fucking awesome.

The crowd was VERY old, which I wasn't really expecting. Few dickheads but not too many problems, although they had to drag a fuck-tonne of people over the middle barrier during the first 10 minutes (no broken ribs)

Finsbury setlist is piss poor I reckon, acoustic solo of A Certain Romance, wut

Do I Wanna Know?
Snap Out of It
Arabella (With War Pigs Snippet)
Brianstorm
Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair
Dancing Shoes
Library Pictures
Crying Lightning
Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?
Fireside
I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor
She's Thunderstorms
No. 1 Party Anthem
Cornerstone (Semi - Acoustic)
Knee Socks
Fluorescent Adolescent
505
Encore:
A Certain Romance (acoustic solo)
One for the Road
I Wanna Be Yours
R U Mine?

I don't like that, R&L will love it though

I haven't finished yet, I still have to attend my subject as normal during study leave (except a day before an exam and if I've done all exams in that subject) and I come back on the 9th to start my A2 courses but I still have 4 exams left...

There are loads of cheap Flaming Lips tickets on seatwave for anyone who's interested. Just bought Brixton tickets for less than £20 each. Result.

No don't buy them yet I want the price to go down so I can get one for a fiver

Were the supports good for Arctics?

Yeah but nothing special. I didn't catch Royal Blood but they sounded really good from where I was sat, and I've never known Miles Kane not put on a fun set. Tame Impala actually suited the occasion really well, chilled everyone out before the main event.

I know we on here are not 1D fans (?) or mosly pop in general. BUT for a free festival I really think it is a great line up and having 1D, Lorde, Bastille, The happy guy ect.. playing for free is really big... The pop fans who got tickets must be loving it

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
