Nope. Turned my nose up at it for those prices. Album was good but they've made the effort to differentiate it from Radiohead, so why do I have to pay Radiohead prices? Wasn't surprised to see I was probably the minority in that thinking and general sale had sold out in about five minutes.

Would enjoy this but see some issues. Plus would be gutted with NIN and Yeah Yeah Yeahs clashing with Biffy. Especially NIN.

I don't understand the hype. I see a lot of people ramble on about the performance in 2010, i can honestly say i watched it and thought 'yeah it's good' but thought Arcade Fire were so much better but you only have to look on the youtube videos to see that others disagree haha. They've obviously got a huge following i just don't know where they all hide

They also played 7th in 2007 with a new album on main.

They played in 2009 heading lockup too.

They played 7th in 2010 with a new album on main.

They played 4th NME last year which still included a couple of tracks from their new album. I don't see them moving higher than 3rd NME/6 th main. Foster The People, The Courteeners, Two Door Cinema Club and The Cribs who took 2nd and 3rd places on NME last year, along with The Gaslight Anthem taking 6th main are all bigger than them. I love them but I think they are more a band than are liked a lot to see but don't really grow in size.

Friday looks good. I had Placebo in my prediction for ages and only took them out because they haven't announced anything yet. However, Reading and Leeds could easily be their first announcements. Would love it if they play.

However, Gaslight have a huge slot at Download and will prob do Glasto also so don't think they will play.

Saturday looks good although would put Alkaline Trio a bit lower. They are quite a bit smaller than Billy Talent nowadays and Billy did the slot below that. Think Alkaline Trio will possibly do low main and lockup. Been a while since they were on main but they won't get that great a slot anymore but they could get an ace slot on lockup as well.

Sunday looks good. Dropkicks again look too low but then again it isn't totally out of the question and they are def due back at Reading.

Basically prediction looks pretty likely to me now. All those bands have reason to play and they all seem to be around the slot I would expect them in. Of course I could be wrong but wouldn't be surprised. However, would swap NIN and YYY's. Mainly due to my own taste but I also think would work better unless Reading are going for the split the crowd option. However, I think Biffy are probably a headliner where you don't split the crowd and just need an alternative and I think Yeah Yeah Yeahs would be a better alternative for most people than NIN.

I'm thinking on going to a festival next summer, can someone tell me if reading/leeds is worth the money I listen to rock, indie and some metal, my only problem is I don't live in England and would love to go to a festival that's not in Ireland, can anyone give me advice?

    • It'd be new album stuff if it were to happen I think.  First 2027 headliner in the bag also?
