Your being a bit silly there matt, im no fan of paramore but its music. No problem tenacious d playing but they should be in the comedy tent like the rest of them.

If I want comedy I will go to a comedy club/tent, if I want music I will go to a gig/festival. Who wants to go and see a band and smile anyway?

Ten D are a band that make comedy songs. When the Spinal Tap guys got together and toured were they music gigs or comedy routines? Bill Bailey (an example of a comedian who has played a music stage at another festival) is a stand up who incorporates songs into his routine. Tim Minchin is probably somewhere between the two and consequently has played alternative/comedy stages and music stages. Ten D don't do non-musical stand-up, Bill Bailey does. They're a band who play music.

EDIT: I think I may have been drunk when I posted this as it reads like the ramblings of a drugged horse.

Basically Ten D may make comedic songs but they're a band that makes music, not a comedian who writes songs as part of his/her routine, therefore they belong on a music stage.

They were really good in 2008, a very surprising treat.

Who does everyone think would be the biggest (semi-realistic) curveball R&L could pull with the third headliner? RHCP despite 2007? Green Day despite their Emirates gig? Coldplay despite their poppiness? Noel Gallagher despite his lower status? Mumford despite their Canadian gig? Spector despite their lower status? Jimi Hendrix despite the fact he's dead? Hitler despite the fact he's not a musician?
