KOL should be booked with a clause that they can't play any material from post 2007 :P But I highly doubt they'll ever be booked again after Reading 09.

Shame really, I never got chance to see them, and definitely wouldn't pay to see them now. So I'll never get to see what used to be almost my favourite band :(

how can a band who took their name from another band be greater than the band they took their name from? ;)

That aside, Talking Heads have had the greatest influence on the music since of any band for the last 35 years.

Found this Alice Cooper quote:

"Well, I don't know why David said that about me. There's somethin wrong here. Publicity, or a joke, maybe. We're friends since many years ago. Both of us had the same problems with our shows, our music, and even the abuse of alcohol and drugs. I knew him since he went to our shows, when he was just an average boy and wore jeans and shirts, before he put make up on his face and had the hair dyed red. I seem to remember him sat there, looking over us with his eyes and mouth open wide when he was nobody".

    • was happy to swerve the main stages on Saturday, but thought it was fine for The Cure, we just went down the opposite side & got a decent spot close to the front, everyone into it (admittedly a bit off to the side)   a festival that now books Olivia Rodrigo as a surprise set isn't going to get any smaller, for better or for worse it is miles apart from when I was first going   personally I still find the people amazing, never have any hassle & the line ups are always so strong & diverse.  We will definitely return for the 25th anniversary next year!
    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
    • Aren't they against touring?
    • If my memory serves me right, it was the other way round - when PS 2022 lineup was released it was already confirmed that she plays Barcelona in May.
    • Cheers! And yep looks identical to Green day's scheduling
