I was just wondering the other day what happened to the great alt-rock band Muse. Excellent debut, pretty good follow up with Origin of Symmetry, then the meh Absolution. Then nothing for ten years, I was hoping they'd do some sort of comeback.

I think they released a single soon after Absolution. Knights of Cydonia it was called. Pretty cool bombastic epic, shame they didn't do a whole album of songs like that, it could have been cool even if a bit of a change of direction.

Oh yeah. I think I've heard that one on Athletics coverage or something, was pretty interesting! I'm glad they ended it there though, at least they didn't carry on and get political or operatic or absolute shit.

I'm playing showbiz just now for the first time in ages. It's still fucking amazing. They might spoil things if they try and replicate it. They should just stop now whilst people still like them and remember how good they were. They can do a Citizen Erased tour first tough

They played it when they did R+L a couple of years ago. It was weird though, they played OOS in full, then most of the rest of the set was silent, they only played a few more songs scattered around nothingness.

It was, I mean, they played nothing off Showbiz and instead just stood there, not doing anything for about 35 minutes of their set. Really bizarre.

Jokes aside, I don't think there's a single good song on The Resistance, and there are only 4 tracks on BHAR worth listening to. I adored the OOS half of the set, but the 2nd half was pretty crap. Setlists around that era were atrocious.
