I've bought, and this time round there are an extra 4 who have bought this early. Last year it was the month prior to the fest before anyone else decided to come. Ill be buying early entry next month.

6 must sees on the main, 9 would like to sees and 3 that I wouldn't mind watching with a beer. Not one act I despise.

Shame on the Phoenix clash because they would be a must see but biffy win.

NME 1 must see(although I won't be) 6 would like to sees, 5 would probably catch if nothing better, 5 I have no interest in. 1 I despise.

Also appearing 1 must see, 3 would like to see.

26 acts that I'd like to see.

Been going to Leeds since 08 and have always got my ticket straight after the festival for the next year. This year i wanted to give Glasto a go but didn't manage to get tickets so bought a Leeds ticket instead. Just hope they add a few more decent bands on the NME and plenty on FR. Just keep telling myself it can only get better...

Regarding lumineers, had a listen to their album on the way to work this morning and I actually prefer it to Mumford and sons, their other tracks are much better then hey oh in my opinion and baring in mind the folk scene seems to be commercial at the moment, I think there spot is justified fine

True. I am just so impressed on reflection. Seems to be the 1st year in a long while they have got the right amount of everything spot on. The lack of soni seems to have been good for getting a few more heavier bands, and the dance scene is massive at the moment, so fair play to that. A few more chilled sets in various spots like lumineers and frank turner in the afternoon, seems great.

I guess there is a lack of "indie" but that scene does seem to be dying unless you have become 1 of the headlining like giants

No way should Lumineers be above Editors.. Don't know why Editors allowed/accepted that.

Don't know why Skrillex are headlining NME when there's a dance tent, and I have no idea why Azealia Banks and ASAP are on the NME when there is a 1xtra stage for exactly those sort of acts..

Do people really think things are going to be moved around? :ninja:

Also when is the next announcement?

They certainly put a lot of my friends off with the lack of indie bands, the type's that were expecting Vampire Weekend, Bloc Party, Miles Kane etc. I imagine the FR tent will have a lot of indie landfill to keep them happy.

I actually have The Lumineers' album and its good. Ho Hey is one of the weaker songs on it but just happens to be the most commerical sounding.

Whilst Editors are much better than them I had a look at The Lumineers' tour sales and they seem to sell out Academies easily across the UK so there seems to be a high demand for them. Considering its likely V would have wanted them too that might explain why they're so high up the line up.

    • Avril gets above GC on rarity (see Cypress Hill this year). She drew in something like 70,000 at Glastonbury, so much so that they had to close the field off. I’d wager that she would get the biggest crowd of the entire weekend if she was to play DL.
    • We've reasonably predicted/wanted a bill of Blink, Avril, Good Charlotte for a while 😅    I'm surprised that Good Charlotte's UK shows in November seem to be doing well atm... obviously if they sell out those venues then they should be subheadliners right? (if they play download that is). They'd only look a strong sub if it was before Blink though I rekn.

    • Well Jason Isbell is on blistering form for this run of European gigs, wonderful night in Bristol
    • I am also interested in this. I was looking for past years, and it looks like it has a limited capacity.  I would love to see Ela Minus, but I guess I won't be able to make it in time, unfortunately.
