Can anyone confirm that in the interview with SOAD when they were talking about playing with a band they hadn't played with for a while they were talking about a headliner?

I know this is a petty comparison, lets just have a look at youtube views.

Biffy Clyro - Sunday headliners. Most viewed video has 5million views

Fall out boy - (being argued to be at the lowest 4th down slot) - 21 Million views on one video.

Now try and tell me that they haven't got a strong following.

(Btw their vevo account was started two years ago)

bmth are easily as big as other acts who've played 3rd.

yes

avenged sevenfold had the opportunity to play in 2008 and since then they haven't been booked in any capacity - half a decade of their most relevance and no booking? yeah I'm pretty sure R&L have worked out they're not right for their fest.

Does anyone think that possibly they are thinking too much into it by seeing that FOB, Eminem and SOAD have the dates up on their websites what they are playing as band sites have been wrong before?

Also with what Biffy said in the interview with Zane lowe?

No he didn't, what originally was said when he asked biffy's bassist or drummer I believe something like is it good to have worked your way up the bill, was then met with the reply of it's good to play such a good fun festival where we've worked our way up to now close this festival is amazing!

Something along those lines anyway, this could be taken as just closing a day or closing the final day?

They had a huge crowd at Leeds. Played soni in 09. A key band member died, recorded an album when Leeds was on in 10 then toured. Subbed download. Then took a break and started to record a new album with a new drummer. You ever think maybe they were offered and turned it down ad they didn't want to do it? This year is the first year its logical for them to play.

Not saying they will, but to say Leeds don't want them is ridiculous.

Gonna do one final prediction before tomorrow

Friday

Black Sabbath

System of a Down

Deftones

Bring Me The Horizon

Jimmy Eat World

Billy Talent - Probably one slot too high

Five Finger Death Punch - Please no

Black Veil Brides - See above

Pure Love

NME

Alt-J

Phoenix

Hurts

Everything Everything

Bastille - Probably too low

Saturday

Eminem

Bloc Party

Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Foals

MGMT

Miles Kane

Django Django

Tegan and Sara

Tribes - Probably too low, although they are getting some low festival slots

NME

Editors

Frank Turner - Can't see him subbing the tent; sold out Wembley and is a Reading icon

Modest Mouse

Killswitch Engage

Palma Violets

Young Guns

Peace

Sunday

Biffy Clyro

Dizzee Rascal

Fall Out Boy

White Lies

The Darkness

The Lumineers

Frightenned Rabbit

Twin Atlantic

Howler

NME

Kraftwerk - A strange choice for NME headliner; can't see it happening but would very much like it

Jake Bugg

Frank Ocean - Would be strange for him to have this slot when he could headline 1Xtra; although I don't see him being there at all

Tame Impala - Probably a slot too low

I Am Kloot

Haim
