I doubt it .... it's not like Glastonbury did when they had Grohl on drums for QOTSA.

I would like to think that it means that there will be more rock on the lineup. I can defiantly see Black Sabbath playing as well.

The problem imo was more to do with just not enough big bands to stretch over 2 & a half fests so when you start clutching at straws like having Adam Lambert (with Queen) and not having clahes which really is booking less bands it was always going to end in tears.

Having more rock/metal is not the way reading/leeds is going to go, or have I misunderstoof the direction they want to go?

Would be interesting if download get another festival to rival it, saying that though more and more people are interested going into europe and theres festivals like wacken, rock am, graspop etc etc. So those festivals could be there competition.

I honestly cant see reading/leeds all of a suddent having an influx of metal/rock like it used to in the 90s.
