i like how they confirmed this but not that they were only two shows at the time too, surely if they were, they would.

r&l had fnm nme header same year as dl had them as headers, they are essentially booked both by same company. i reckon if r&l wanted a sub, they could have it, certainly won't stop dl potential sales, the lineups will be much different n people already know they're getting maiden, aic and motorhead n most likely stone sour

You Me At Six were beyond amazing last night at Wembley. Completely above and beyond what I had expected, it was one of those shows where everything came together and was just right. Great performance with beautiful lighting and fireworks, such an awesome atmosphere, and ridiculously good crowd. Fairly young, as you would probably expect, but friendly, energetic and passionate. You could really tell the band were genuinely excited and living out their dream, which naturally added to the vibe.

Setlist was near-perfect, we even got When We Were Younger which is my favourite song from Sinners Never Sleep but I don't think they've ever played it live before. The only thing they didn't play that I particularly wanted was The Rumour, but that's literally the only complaint I have about the whole show.

I'm sure a lot of people will disagree, and that it would likely be pretty controversial, but I'm now convinced that You Me At Six could and should headline Reading within the next few years. Not 2013 of course, they still need to build on their popularity, but another album and 2-3 years should do it I reckon.

I've seen them 3 times and thoroughly enjoyed them each time.

I was actually impressed with Josh's scream/roaring at Leeds this year when he did the Oli Sykes part of Bite My Tongue. At least he gave it a good go and didn't leave that part of the song out like some bands do when guest vocalists aren't present. I think they could sub in 2014 if they have a successful album out.

Mumford headlining would be the final nail in the coffin in terms of me going to R+L but that top 3 would be the cremation. All 3 are absolutely w@nk live, i didn't think paramore could get worse but every time i come across them they do! I'm more than willing to accept that could be a top 3 someday, but i think i would have moved way out of R+L demographic by then. I'm very much on the edge now at a grand old age of 20!

Bring back soni, perfect mix of music, a brilliant atmosphere and a really good site.

Soni 2011 probably the best festival i've been too

    • Interesting to read. It's mostly why we stopped going a few years back even though it's the nearest big festival to home. The post-exams timing and location makes it a rites of passage first festival for people in a big area. Understandably that leads to a bit of giddiness. Think lineup would need to be a lot more my cup of tea to be enticed back. Friends who are there are having a good time tho and no rain is a good thing for up there.
    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.
