I am very happy- Leeds fest is just up the road and I'm a massive Cure fan so day ticket will be bought no doubt. My 3 year old son will be jealous as he loves the Cure especially "In Between days"

I'm 17 and a lot of people I know love The Cure, I think it's a good booking! However not so thrilled seeing as my group of friends are going to Southside and they're headlining there as well, not sure if it's worth going to both now but we'll have to see when the rest of the line-up is announced.

The Cure have made some of the best pop music ever committed to tape.

But they are also one of the dullest live bands I have ever seen. Would have much preferred Blur (on the strength of live performance), but I'm not one of those people who cries into his beer over one act not being to his taste, headliner or otherwise.

Great news as far as i'm concerned (almost tempted to attend for the first time in years), those stating that they were at their pinnacle many years ago, why does this not apply to Metallica whenever they headline??

Absolute killer booking, just what Reading needed.

    • Seems the addition of the Sun Stage area is interesting. Suspect this is the area where the Stage 4 used to be pre-2024. Looks as though they want to try create some space to keep people in amongst the arena post-headliners, rather than just crowds all descending back on the campsite entertainment at once.
    • 2000 Trees - 3 Day Tickets on Concert for Carers to buy (pair £15) sure they will not have them for long, I cant check if they are still available as it now says I have already bought tickets.
    • times and technology has changed , a pyramid headliner is often about the show thats put on as much as the music like it or not and as much as many would like to you cant really blame an artist for trying to get the best out of the set both for the audience in the field and for the cameras also .... Beyonce was 15 years ago
