Can we just have another announcement already? I don't like the waiting/teasing.

There was a Facebook comment the other day saying they've got a few more announcements over the coming months, and everything should be done and dusted by the end of June. What do we know?

- two more Bella Union artists

- the apply-to-play artists (about 10 usually)

- comedy

- cinema

Last year M Ward and Okkervil River got randomly announced, so maybe we'll get some similar surprises this year. Anyway, after a quiet April, maybe something this week.

Last year there were 86 artists announced, so far there's been 73 this year, and we know Alabama Shakes are playing twice (much as I now imagine whichever stage gets their low-key show will be crushed beyond compare)

Maybe they spent it all on a new road.

I thought we'd agreed that Bella Union don't particularly like the idea of a headliner? I'd love to see M. Ward again though, especially if he brings a full band this time.

They may not like the idea of a headliner, but someone's got to play last on the mainstage. If that happens to be M Ward, then I will be more than happy. Especially, as has already been mentioned, he brings a full band with him.

Just listening to A Wasteland Companion for the first time, really really hope they book him again now.

Also just noticed Iceage are playing in Shoreditch on the Friday and Saturday of EOTR, maybe a possibility for the Big Top closer on Sunday?

Grimes and Frankie Rose are also around in September and are free to play on the Sunday.

Grimes are a festival exclusive for Bestival i think.

I wish they'd pull their finger out and sort out the last headliner, so i can decide if i want to go or not!

Bella Union have confirmed that Beach House and Midlake will play the final slots on the on the two main stages on the Friday.

Guess we should have figured that seeing as the official site has Midlake listed next to Grandaddy and Grizzly Bear.

Interesting lineup, I feel like there are fewer big names than last year - or is that just me? (Not saying that's a bad thing - I honestly think this lineup is great already).

Yep, definitely a lot fewer big names than last year. Last year there were a lot more bands that I thought 'ooh, I must see them'. From this year's line-up here's what I reckon look like the best bands:

19 Bands ?!?!? - I'd be happy if I could find that many on a Glastonbury

line-up.....don't see your problem. Surely Brakes should be on that list - I'm assuming they're scheduled.

There are definitely two more bands to be announced from Bella Union, and we haven't had the application winners yet. I reckon we're due another 10-15 artists.

I think there was a post on Facebook that the full line-up would be announced by the end of June. Just been a bit quiet recently, but I guess there's a lot of work going on with NDH, so that's understandable.

Why does no one seem to like Beach House, they're amazing. Grizzly Bear Beach House and Grandaddy are the best bands playing. And Alabama Shakes are good too.
