seadragon
Really hope it's not Spiritualized. They're on a long slow, downward slide. Every album mooted as a return to form, when it never really is. Should have knocked it on the head 15 years ago.

seadragon
I do actually think the last album was pretty damn good - certainly better than the so-so previous few. Of course Jason and Sonic should just kiss and make up, reform the Spacemen, crank it up the riffs and make us all happy : )
Nigey_boy
Grandaddy will close the festival with a fantastic show unlike JN last year where we sat in the campsite listening to her screeching finger nails down the blackboard racket. Nice one EOTR!!!!!
Yokel Again
I was hoping for a returning Bon Iver to headline, but what with the Latitude announcement I assume there is zero chance of this. Probably too big for EOTR these days anyway? The set in 2008 (?) was probably one of the best festival sets I've ever seen, although I know his band/set up has changed massively since then having seen him twice since. wackojackohighcliffe
it's still a good spectacle and some great songs, although it does get a little overwrought at points. But yeah, probably a moot point anyhow. I'm convinced for some reason that it will be the Shins as headliners (which would be good).
RustySpanner
If Grandaddy are headlining Sunday, doesn't this mean Grizzly Bear will headline Saturday leaving a (presumably so far unannounced) Bella Union band to headline on Friday, in view of Friday being Bella Union day? geofelgie
well, it could be a one-off special.......cocteau twins reunion??????? yeah, unlikely maybe.....but lift to experience doing the whole of the texas jerusalem crossroads??? Anyway, aren't Fleet Foxes actually on Sub pop - that's certainly what it says on the back of my album. Never quite worked out where sub pop ends and bella union begins. Had thought that might mean we got Shins - but I think they're now on a major label - though occasionally there are residual deals when a band changes labels - so its not impossible. ljsawyer
Surely can't be the Walkmen, they weren't even headlining the second stage last year. I can't see how it could be anyone other than Fleet Foxes or Explosions In The Sky, unless what geof says is true.
RedRockRick
Walkmen would be a massively underwhelming headliner, except possibly on Thursday night.
Christophales
The Walkmen aren't going to play again this year. If it is Bella Union-based, it can only be Fleet Foxes or Explosions in the Sky, but I don't think it will be either and a non-BU act will do it
