mrtourette
If it did happen would that make the people paying extra for the music ticket elitist?

Superscally
I did. You contributed to the discussion about evolving musically by saying that Arctics have and then complained about Kasabian's lyrics. If the two are unrelated then I'll treat the second point as the irrelevant one I had it down as when I first read it.
LondonTom
LondonTom was the one who linked inspiration and a changing sound, not me. I merely expressed that the Arctic Monkeys sound has changed more than Kasabian's and then continued to respond to the thinly veiled dig at AM, Edited March 25, 2013 by LondonTom

Superscally
1)It was a drunken rant 2)This discussion doesn't really need to happen yet again. All in all they are about equal but its always fun seeing Arctic Monkeys being held up as a band really evolving their sound

Superscally
Please tell me thats a joke? Even if its the exact same show as they did previously, bands still need to rehearse. Do you think that once you get to a certain level you can just slack off and knock out a good performance at a moments notice. Huge headlining bands like Foo's, Metallica, Prince and the sexual innuendo, RHCP, Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, U2, Neil Young, Pearl Jam all rehearse loads before going on tour. By the time the first shows come around it'll be about 8 months since Macca's played a gig with his band. You can't go from 8 months out of the game to headlining stadiums and possibly glasto without rehearsing Edited March 25, 2013 by Superscally
