I`m guessing the Stones will piss them off by not committing and as we get closer and closer to the date the offer to play will be withdrawn ( possibly again ). From the other side of the fence, with the age / health of the band is it realistic for them to commit to anything much in advance.

I hope Arcade Fire are on any reserve list.

Meh, I personally think kanye would play. But to be honest, he may not.

I just think that options are quite narrow... from what it seems.

I did know my friend but even if they were 'disappointed' with it, I don't see how even on their game it would have made much difference. OK they could have been musically tighter, more interactive with the crowd etc but still, I don't think their music translates to a big stage.

In my dreams I imagined them playing somewhere like The Park and 1000 people are sitting watching them, and there's all these beautiful lights everywhere and their wonderful chimes filled every inch of air around me. But in reality they're too big for that and simply they're too quiet to play to such a large audience.
