Did you mean that reply to me?! I have never suggested any heavy metal bands for Glastonbury

And my comment about heavy metal was a personal opinion, I wasn't implying that heavy metal misc IS shit, I just personally think that sort of music is shit, from my own personal opinion. Not a criticism of anyone or any breed of music, just expressing my own personal opinion to that form of music

Looking at a post quite a while ago, by december 2011, It was pretty clear who was playing, seeing as Coldplay & Beyonce were both SR and U2 were TBC.

If rumours are true that stones have dropped out. We now have one SR, one R and anyones game

We are very in the dark.

I think they might have been miffed for a day but really it doesn't matter all that much

They've already sold all the tickets, so in this situation self confirmation only means they don't get to announce it when they want. The other reason they hold back (I imagine) is on the off chance it doesn't happen and they pull out. And anyone who pulls out after self confirming is just sadistic

No, I'd argue u2 and Beyonce have been responsible for the majority of our early knowledge.

How do you know the headliners aren't already listed? There's several acts rumoured by efests, and its quite possible they are the headliners.

As I've said, the last two years have been a very specific set of circumstances, very out of the ordinary. U2 were obviously going to play, and Beyonce announced herself, something I can't imagine Glastonbury were happy about.

It's really not out of the ordinary to be in this position, if you look before the last year.

If we're talking dreams

Realistic dream (as in if they were coincidentally touring on the same year they could all be booked)

Arctic Monkeys- Radiohead - David Bowie

David Byrne - Prodigy - The Libertines

Unrealistic Dream

Talking Heads - David Bowie - Led Zeppelin

James Brown - The Prodigy - Last Shadow Puppets
