Fairplay, if glastonbury could pull it off it'd be huge.

Based on the most reliable of can take at if minute, arctics, the stones and jay z bed kanye is i stupidly strong set.

I'd just bearing in mind that, after the last gap year we ended up with an established huge headliner but the other too were 1st headline slots for both.

This being said, should that Friday and Saturday be right, i can't see Mumford taking the Sunday at all.

Happy Christmas Gazza. Hope you got all you wanted.

It does appear the Arctics are dead set, and the Stones well we have all thought that for a while now. Now the third, people have started saying WTT. Now from what I can remember nobody has had anything to say they will be playin at all (I know Neil had something earlier in the year but he had it alongside Daft Punk in I remember rightly, which is probably wrong).

My view is the third is pretty much open to anyone (I still think Gaga). Now there were a few of us which where sure that T and Glasto would share at least 1 but jus because of the Arctic news this now appears written off, which I personally think is odd.

Anyway, roll on June. Have a good one everyone

Jay Z is a clever buisnessman, he realises how much publicity and promotion a Glasto headline act gives to an act, he went down a storm in 08 and obviously would have had a hand in getting Beyonce onboard last year, I reckon if WTT the throne were asked he'd snap their hand off.

Didn't Plan B play 3rd in 2011? I thought he'd be deserving of a bump up. Plus I'm not sure if Rihanna would sub if she's headlining T, and I'm not sure if Deftones would play Glasto (too R&L). Also The xx are too big for John Peel.

I find these types of lineups pretty boring, especially the Other stage which should be experimenting with acts like System Of A Down, Deftones, Enter Shikari type bands. If the festival is to progress it has to start booking

Also I don't think Glasto has ever been in much danger of repeating itself too much seeing as how it's probably THE most diverse festival in the UK and can pluck it's line up from a huge pool of bands in different genres.

Deftones played in 98, plus with a superb new album I think they have to play. Subbing SOAD on Other Sunday would be the best thing ever.

I find these types of lineups pretty boring, especially the Other stage which should be experimenting with acts like System Of A Down, Deftones, Enter Shikari type bands. If the festival is to progress it has to start booking, more rock and perhaps metal. To keep the lineups interesting, and avoiding repeat bookings.

With the mix of Glasto type acts and these acts I really feel that with a diverse lineup Glasto could leap up to another level.

Thus is why Jay-z should never play Glasto again.He it's too money orientated and isn't a pure musician. Yes you have to be concerned about sales and shit about being an artist but I think being called a clever businessman us a bit off the scale.

I think that the festival has a lack of rock and metal for it to be considered Britons best festival which it arguably is. In other genres it definitely excels.
