i would guess the friday night guest in club dada will be Parlov Stelar. Not just because of the electro swing, but i am sure that they announced a wee bit back that they had him playing the friday night in dada and he is not on this list.. i hope that booking has still come off, someone i was looking fwd to seeing, :)

on a real tip that is actually possible, jarvis cocker is quite likely to appear with discodeine to perform "synchronize". especially since it says including guests.

seriously doubt its justice. it kind of adds up cos they're french but not for any other reason. theyre not touring or playing live at all anywhere and i'm not sure they have ever performed at glasto ever in any capacity.....

might be an ed banger dj at best.

Any idea roughly when these 'superstar guests' will be on? After headliners or not? I would be massively pissed off if I deliberately missed The Chems on the other stage, with the hope of catching a Daft Punk/ Justice type act, and then get massively let down when it's not. Hmm, decisions, decisions... <_<

[i'd imagine they'll be on after the headliners. The only issue is how long it'll take to get into Shangri La at that time.

Good to see you all getting excited about my revelation regarding the Band of Holy Joy playing Club Dada on Saturday afternoon. Rough estimates put the forecasted crowd at 3 (if I can drag my mate along)

It's just like the Rockingbirds in 2009 all over again, an audience of a dozen fat balding middle-aged men weeping for their lost youth.

Most of the acts I know/want to see in the late night areas are on the Saturday night (2 bears, dj yoda, friendly fires dj and pretty much all of the French dance music at dada) which is the one night I really want to see a headliner (chemical bros)...

Anyone got any recommendations for acts in the late night areas on the other nights based on the above?

Sorry to disappoint people, but it doesn't look as though these "Superstar guests" are gonna be Justice.. They're in America on the Friday.

I very highly doubt it's going to be Daft Punk either, seeing as they're doing absolutely nothing in terms of performing... So could well just be another over-hyped about slot (similar to the rumours going around about the park slots), and when people turn up, are just going to be left terribly disappointed. Shame.. ;)

Where abouts would the Arcadia stage come under? Think there was two last year, the main stage and a bar/tent with a stage. Might have been called bar arcadia or some other similar name.

Dub Mafia are playing there somewhere.

Just noticed Sheelanagig are playing Club DaDa on Thursday evening. I saw them at the weekend, very entertaining.

This was filmed last year and they seem to have changed guitarist since then...

I believe that I have a handle on it, but it's not something I'll be posting - sorry.

With stuff like this, it needs to stay secret else there's a big chance it won't be able to happen anyway - if there's too much risk of too many people turning up then it'll get stopped for safety reasons.

    • I found the vibe a little different to recent editions.. definitely an older crowd, less queer, less Spanish.. certainly has something to do with the lack of Glastonbury this year. And I felt Saturday was a little overcrowded. I‘ve never seen Mordor as full as last night for the xx and Gorillaz. Did not enjoy that too much.
    • Not my favourite year either, despite liking the lineup more than previous years. Not sure what it was, I guess Thursday really put the brakes on things. But yeah I'll be back next year hopefully. And maybe Massive Attack will return...
    • E-mail summarizing Saturday - Primavera Sound 2026 Journal Day 3. As in previous days, it's going to be on the website soon, I think.
    • I was surprised as well. I met more than 20 different people on both Friday and Saturday that had come in reusing QR codes.
