Aloe Blacc!!

I am well happy with that considering I didn't think he would be there at all. However I am the only one of my friends who has heard of him, so it will be me and a cold cider to watch him!

If anyone sees me bopping around on my lonesome feel free to say hi!

The announcement today demonstrates why Glasto for me is light years ahead of the rest. The board was buzzing with lurkers checking out a lineup for the 3rd largest stage with acts that would grace the main stages of most other festivals in the country.

Made up about this one. Anyone catch him with Ethiopiques in 2008?

& he leads into Jimmy Cliff. B)

Yeah and hated that American band he was with. They patronised the Ethiopians and played really flat. The magic of the ethio jazz stuff is all those throbbing valves and pre-digital fuzz. The Heliocentrics are perfect for him. Should be a great gig.

Any chance of Cee-Lo playing an early slot on the Pyramid on Friday? Clinging on here as I'd really like to see him but I don't want to miss U2, looking at last year Femi Kuti headlined West Holts on the Friday and played 2nd bottom on the Pyramid on the same day so perhaps it's a possibility? Fingers crossed!

    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
    • Absolutely buzzing if it is Blink    Still can't be 100% sure with Download though
