Avenged Sevenfold have said they will be doing festivals next year, although I see them probably going back to Soni (Rev's last show) or maybe even headlining Download at a push, I still think they can sub at R+L. Thoughts?

i have a feeling biffy wont headline, just coz everyone seams to accept them as a headliner , i want them to headline but it seams to good to be true to have everyone accept the "headliner making the step up" straight away

on another note i love the fact that A7X and placebo have been mentioned

I don't think Beady Eye will play next year, if they are doing festivals then they'll probably do V instead to cover both bases rather than sticking to one festival for two years on the spin. Also their booking to headline the tent was understandable but a bit of a stretch, they've already used the Liam Gallagher factor to get that slot and unless they release another record quickfire that continues their (limited) popularity I doubt they'd get to third on the line-up.

Unless it's a full reunion (unlikely) with a new record (unlikely) I doubt Hole would get booked anywhere near third, if at all.
