Of course, it's possible/likely that a festival set (with a high proportion of casual fans) will be quite different to his other shows (with mostly diehards in the audience). Just look at David Bowie, who never does greatest hits shows, except for the one he broke out for Glastonbury.

On the other hand, you can only play what you've rehearsed, and since the Glastonbury appearance coincides with a tour...

The thing is, so many of the S&G songs relied on Art Garfunkel's voice, or on their harmonies together. Could Paul Simon even do Bridge Over Troubled Water justice vocally? Would Baby Driver work at all with an unknown backing singer doing half the vocals?

It'd be lovely to hear those songs, but he's got so many great solo tracks now, and it'll be nice to hear those too. He's been solo since 1970!

By the way if anyone's not intimate with his first solo album "Paul Simon", I can really, really, recommend it. One of these days I'm going to put my lame version of "Papa Hobo" on YouTube...

From that last set list, I'd be happy if it was just:

50 Ways to Leave Your Lover

Slip Slidin' Away

The Obvious Child

The Only Living Boy in New York

The Boy in the Bubble

Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes

The Sound of Silence

Kodachrome

Here Comes the Sun

Late in the Evening

But would love him to add:

Gracelands

Al

Me and Julio

New album, schmalbum.
