Some info. Headliners

I'd say Kasabian would be a safe choice for Other Stage headliner, but not main stage. Them headlining V doesn't mean much. Killers, Franz Ferdinand and Scissor Sisters have also headlined V but weren't really big enough to be more than Other Stage headliners at their respective time. V does seem to choose headliners who probably couldn't headline any other festival.

I don't believe a word the Eavii say this far from the fest, you just can't see the ocean for the red herrings. Could be anyone.

I have heard this too. I actually heard it on the first day of the fest this year. mixed messages from Eavis and the band though.

i think kesabian are big enough to headline, and don't they have a new album out??? (don't want them to headline though mind you)

with take that, do you REALLY think they could headline. and more importantly do you Really think eavis would book him. like lets be honest, he dose seem to book bands he likes, or at least are musically credable, and i can't imagin the guy thinking there particularry good. i mean can you imagin anyone waking up in the morning and thinking 'lets make take that a headliner act of the worlds greatist festival?'

U2 i thinks the only band you could put money on.

if you asked what i'd like its radiohead. don't give a monkeys bout the other too (unless its somehow david bowiee)

I have a horrid horrid feeling we could see

Friday: U2; Biffy

Saturday: Radiohead; Kylie

Sunday: Eminem; (????)

Eminem, would just annoy me.

However, you'd find me at the West Holts or Summit that day :)

Radiohead after this year would be epic :)

U2, not my cup of tea, but they have good songs and would be good to sing along tooo

If ME is telling the truth (and that's not necessarily a given!), I reckon the earlier suggestions of Prince could be about right. He's hardly been after coldplay or radiohead for years since they'e played plenty of times (didn't Thom even suggest they were in danger of becoming the glastonbury house band if they played too often)... My guess, The northsiders for Fri, Coldplay/Radiohead for Sat, and Prince for Sun...(not exactly inspired guesses mind you!)...

Emily Eavis said on twitter that Michael Eavis was right in that they are announcing the line up when the tickets have been sold but not to expect it to be in the next few days.

I think they will have to confirm U2 seeing as they have as good as said they will be there. I actually don't mind who is playing tho :D
