Some info. Headliners

Prince would have made more sense last year. Roskilde was headlined by Muse, Gorillaz and Prince... so I'm guessing that if he wanted to turn up at Glasto he would have fitted it in then.

Personally I think Eminem would be great. I like the variety it would give.

But it's Radiohead who I'm really going to be going to be dreaming about tonight (in an extremely non-sexual way).

Well, he really only turned up at roskilde to settle a legal dispute. He owed MCD 2 million quid compensation for cancelling a show at croke park...they got a court order to seize his earnings anywhere in europe in order to settle the debt. So he promptly turned up at Roskilde and reportedly got paid exactly 2 million quid!...now that he's free to work in europe again without having his earning seized, he's announced dates starting at the end of this year, so it appears he's touring europe again....I'd say he's certainly a possibility.

U2 are pretty much guaranteed. I think we can all agree on that.

Radiohead would make sense if the whole new album thing turns out to be true, although you never know with them.

Prince just wouldn't make sense and I don't think he'd be as popular as ME thinks unfortunately.

Take That are big enough, no doubt. But if it's true, it'll be the controversial talking point of this year I think.

U2 for Friday. Eagles or Fleetwood Mac for Saturday and on Sunday as they let all the locals in it would have to be someone they could all enjoy. just hope its not Take That. Stones would be good for a good old sing along. to be honest I am so overjoyed at getting a ticket I am just glad to be going.

as much as the Stones are a musical institution, after watching the first 15 mins of Shine A Light, they are not comfortable to watch prancing around on the stage in their 60's thinking they are still in their 20's. Good to listen to, not good to watch.

Depeche Mode would be a fantastic headliner

And all this bad mouthing of Take That, like them or loathe them they write their own songs, can sing and Gary Barlow is well respected in the music industry. At the end of the night when you're blathered I guarantee you'll be singing along to their cheesy songs. I am not a fan by the way but went to a concert with my mrs and I'm not ashamed to admit it but they sang, performed and entertained very well!

I'm not sure the festival should put on the two biggest money grabbing corporate acts at the same festival.

The Stones are the epitomy of that and U2 are their understudies.

Who'd be the third biggest money grabbing act to headline the last night? Prince?

edit: typo
