I would probably say Gorillaz, I was very very excited to watch them but were kinda disappointing.

for me the headliners i havent enjoyed were the verve, but that dosent mean they shouldnt have headlined, as i think they should have, i just didnt enjoy it as much as i was thinking i would. cant really comment on Arctics as i wasnt there in person, but didnt enjoy it on the telly, now that may have been the weather dampening peoples spirits, i dont know but as the fri headliner, it was probably a decent gamble on the bookers part. maybe just didnt work out, but only a handful that dont work out over 40 odd years isnt that bad

Thought The Verve were brilliant. Normally like to get in the mix for them but watched them sat on the hill and was the perfect ending to the festy. They debuted Love is Noise as well which is brilliant. Shame that Ashcroft went mental again and Forth was shit!

Most bands who've had a go at headlining have either been there on merit, or have proved their worth on stage. That said, Shakey's sister or whoever do seem to be an odd one out. I think even Eavis forgot they headlined.

+ 3 - i was torn between Groove Armada and Gorillaz.

Have previously seen GA so thought Gorillaz would be a good shout - Wouldnt of said they were poor but I was diasppointed and wish I saw GA!!!

It would have been interesting if they'd bumped Flaming Lips to Pyramid and Gorillaz had gone to the Other Stage, although there would still be people complaining about it whatever happened
