I've only ever seen ME (who I've seen at some point every time I've been, except the first couple of years, where I was only there for a night and don't remember much of either) and some z-lists on the one occasion we managed to blag our way backstage. (and john peel at phoenix some years back)

Closest I've got was when ash did an acoustic thing in greenpeace in '99, after it was over everyone rushed round following tim all starstruck (including my then wife and sister) and I was stood next to 2 blokes who commented "I guess they are all Tim fans then", I grinned, agreed and wandered off to try and catch the missus before she made a fool of herself and only when wandering off did I realise they were the rest of ash.

I don't think I'd recognise famous people if I saw them because I don't really watch tv or read the press.

In 2009 I say the woman who plays Hayley the tranny in Corrie by the pyramid. I was so stoned it took me ages to get up, when I eventually did she was gone. I proceeded to run around shouting "HAYLEY!" and asking if anyone had seen "Hayley from Corrie". Most people ignored me, thinking I was on acid.

There hasn't been a year yet when some random (usually drunk) person hasn't sidled up and asked for a photo/autograph/snog etc.

She always obliges and thinks its a hoot.

The best we saw was Pete Doherty and Kate Moss trying to get onto the back of the pyramid stage when the Arctic Monkeys were playing, Security were chasing them everywhere, they then caught them and escorted them off!! Brilliant!

Also met SeasickSteve...he was awesome!

Oh yes and we met Michael Eavis twice and saw Andrew Marr.

As well as Phil Jupitus, Chris Moyles, Sharon Osbourne and Jo Wiley.

I was up the Ribbon Tower at the same time as Guy Garvey. He was stood behind me in the queue for half an hour with his lady. Kick myself for not saying hello but didnt want to intrude. The rest of the band were sat in the Park.

Also Tourette Pete from BB and Jo Whilley.

Saw Christopher ecelston (sic) last year. My wife grabbed Michael eavis's arm as he was walking out of bez's acid house and wouldn't let go. Stood next to most of elbow at the park. The best though is I've managed to spot the main guy out of two pints of lager two years on the trot. don't know his name, don't want to. Hate that show.
