So MCR are announcing a European tour next Monday.

Well the US tour goes right from start of March until end of May. So they're free for June onwards, so I wonder if they'll do European fests of a full European tour, think they'll do fests and then European tour dates come late 2011.

SYSTEM OF A DOWN's much-rumored comeback/reunion tour is expected to be announced on Monday, November 29, along with details of several European festival appearances in 2011, including the U.K.'s Download.

I went to see Skunk Anansie at Brixton Academy tonight. It was the last night on their tour and at the end of the gig Skin announced "See you at Download" OHHHHH YES!!!!!!!! Top 3 on main stage I hope

Excellent news! They were awesome at v this yr. AC had already hinted they were playing on twitter. They wont be top 3 main stage tho! Nowhere near big enough these days, can see them mid main stage or high second stage.

I missed them at Soni this year cus Corey was on!!

Iv interviewed quite a few bands for my radio show and Zebrahead said they would be back for festivals next year and are big fans of Download. Also Bowling For Soup are keen to return to Download which they say is one of thier favourite festivals.

Saw Skunk Anansie at T this year and they kicked butt. Shame there weren't many fans there to appreciate it as the circle had filled up with neds and neddettes for The View who followed. Skunk Anansie and SOAD are enough to buy my ticket already!

That bit looks wrong. I don't think Weezer are a 2nd headliner for download, and if it's a Soundgarden headed grunge day, Alice in Chains could probably be pulled up to second with an appropriate second stage headliner.
