ok my prediction (mite not happen but w/e)

main stage only fyi for reading

Friday:

Muse, MCR, 30STM, No Doubt, Feeder

Saturday:

The Strokes, Pulp, Manic Street Preachers, Frank Turner, Jimmy Eat World

Sunday:

Pearl Jam, The Prodigy, B4MV, Incubus, Killswitch Engage

obviously its only 5 bands but it all depends on who has broken into the main stream who goes lower on the stage, maybe moving a few to the nme.

I'll go close with someone who's posted something similar.

Friday: Muse, My Chemical Romance, Offspring, Jimmy Eat World, Rancid, Dropkick Murphys, Anti-flag, band of skulls, Two door cinema club, Local Natives.

Saturday: The Strokes, Pulp, Interpol, MGMT, The Streets, Seasick Steve, The Black Keys, etc

Sunday: Green day, Prodigy, Vampire Weekend, Foals, The National, Frank Turner, Alexisonfire, Rise Against, etc

Might be good, might be shit. I'm really tired and couldn't think of many bands or what order or w.e night.

That line-up although realistic, would really annoy me. There's about two bands I'd want to see each day. I'd love to see the top three on Saturday, but then the rest of it is shit. I'd love to see Foals (I can't see them on main stage), The National and Frank Turner, but not much of the rest.

So very realistic :D

Right sorry I've made another prediction, spent a fair while thinking over this one... still pretty unsure:

Friday

Muse

Franz Ferdinand

Editors

Mumford & Sons

The Streets

Foals

Eagles of Death Metal

The Go! Team

Pulled Apart By Horses

Saturday

The Strokes

Pulp

Florence & The Machine - still think she would prob second headline but def think would look sensible under Pulp and The Strokes

Interpol

Panic At The Disco

White Lies

The Subways

Reel Big Fish

The Horrors

Kids in Glass Houses

Sunday

My Chemical Romance

30 Seconds To Mars

Incubus

Jimmy Eat World

Feeder

Bring Me The Horizon

Frank Turner - would prob be above BMTH really.

Taking Back Sunday

The Blackout

My Passion

I also think PJ Harvey (joint headline with Crystal Castles) and Bullet For My Valentine could well headline NME... possibly Elbow also or Interpol if say Glasvegas took their slot (and I think there is a good possibility Glasvegas could play).

Thoughts?

Yeah def Muse for two hour slot... sure they did near to two hours at Glasto last year.

The predictio prob took me bout 3 hours but included thoughts from some of my older predictions. I kept thinking of bands but fitting them in realistically was awkward... like I don't think EODM will do the exxact same day and slot as the past two times they have played but they jsut kept ending up there... so had to work it to move their day.

They'll have the new album behind them though. Which you can gurantee NME will promote endlessly, and I have little doubt will go to number one. Although there have been some shocks in the charts recently.

I like the band but I actually don't want them headlining. They're vastly overrated in my opinion and to be honest I prefer the third album over the other two and doubt will get much of that. Although here's hoping the new album will be ace.

I am as well

Not the biggest band around, always gone between headline and subbing

and the fact they played IoW and Rockness last year does take away a bit of the demand for them as well as the fact they can't market it as their 'long awaited return to the UK' which is a line FR seem to love saying
