See that's much more like it! I'd definately go for a lineup like that. Swap the White Stipes and Beastie Boys around. Substitute Good Charlotte for Rancid, Modest Mouse for JEW and get Minus the Bear on there as well and it's pretty much perfect.

I know that some bands will almost certainly not be there.. But I wouldnt complain with that line up, filling the gaps in with bands that fill all genres...

see i did not get the fuss over TCV. Saw them, was very excited like everyone else, bought into the hype, and thought they were shite. The gig was dull, the album was dull, everything about them was dull.... Except for the members. Which people still seem to think is the only thing needed to make a decent band.

I agree, Florence isn't really my style. However as previously posted above about Daft Punk, they wouldn't be first choice as I'm not a huge fan but i think they would put on an awesome show. Much better than some of the other suggestions i have heard

Yeah. It's silly booking a band with 3 huge rockstars in it.

I've been to plenty gigs where i don't know the band or lyrics and had a great time, and it's practically the point of a festival - to find out about new music.
