Family Guy vs. American Dad vs. The Cleveland Show

Family Guy to bond with the family, American Dad to bond with the internet, Cleveland Show is just on the wrong night.

Being a huge fan of Seth Macfarlanes animated creations I thought i'd start a thread to discuss them

I reckon American Dad is by far the best, Stan and Roger steal the show

Family Guy is definately a close second, Peter is by far the funniest.

The Cleveland Show is horrendous, whoever thought it'd be a good idea to make his own show was clearly high.

Any fans of any these shows out there?

Of the three, im really digging American Dad, but Family Guy is the easiest to just watch anytime, no matter what mood im in, AD I have to be in the mood, and Ive watched like 2 eps of Cleveland show, its alright.

Early Family Guy was the best, the newer eps are just average, AD is very good seen as many hated it when it first started. My fave ep by FAR is tearjerker, that is just AWESOME

To me American Dad and Cleveland Show are all the jokes that didn't quite make it into Family Guy.

I like FG but its always just a little to random. AD follows a nice structure. All in all though it just shows how good a voice actor Seth Macfarlane is.

Not really watched Cleveland Show yet, I will get around to it just in no great hurry.

I've just finished watching every single Family Guy episode recently and agree its losing it a bit recently, but it still does it have its moments and I just love the randomness of it.

, one of my favourite moments it was just so random and rediculous and I was half falling asleep when I heard it and I just cracked up (No pun:P)

I love american dad, its by far my favourite even if Family Guy has much funnier moments, american dad has more of consistent humour with it, Stan of Arabia is my favourite episode(s) of it, just hilarious and sums up pretty well how Stan treats Fransene, you got love Stan's boss to just brilliant from none other than Patrick Stewart! Works so brilliantly! and Roger really cracks me up sometimes

Joe: I know. Somehow that's better.

I love American Dad. Family Guy can be funny, but just irritates me with its constant "Do remember that time..." cutaways. The Clevand Show is just shit.

I've recently caught a few old Family Guys on FX I think it must be, and am happily reminded about how good it used to be.

I've only seen one of the new episodes on BBC3 - not good.

Cleveland show has got so much better. It almost rivals AD and FG now.

For me though American Dad is by far the best, Roger gives them so many options in regards to storyline's.

Family Guy at its best is probably funnier but its far too inconsistent.

I love the theme tune of Cleveland show by far the best thing about it but not keen on any of the 3 as they make me laugh but I never put them on unless there's nothing on and even then if I've got nothing better to do.

I think the Cleveland Show is the best. It's got the best stories and the jokes flow more natural out of the characters/plots. I do have one complain about it though - this season hasn't featured enough of Cleveland Jr.

Family Guy's really variable. Started off pretty good, got lazy and unfunny, now it's back to being pretty good.

i loved the cleveland show and at first but haven't been enjoying the current series. i haven't really liked the new family guy episodes either.

i've been watching king of the hill a lot and i love it, definitely my favourite animated show. i think it works so well because it could easily just be a sitcom with real people.

Although I've not enjoyed this series of The Cleaveland Show quite as much I'd say it just edges Family Guy but when on form I'd say Family Guy's the best.

But for me South Park beats everything.
