I relate to you with that, but isnt that the song were he strings together some guff about plasticine? I suppose the sentiments were there but the song and lyric construction was just apaullling.

Just a thought but if Robbie Williams had been drunk at the Brits and if YumYum had spoken to him and if Robbie had slurred the words that he would be at Glasto, maybe it would be with Take That rather than as a solo artist.

Either way I hope not.

I'm totally the opposite. Don't mind some of his stuff, but I think he's a bit of an idiot.

He IS a good showman though.

I always think of him as a cross between Norman Wisdom and Frank Sinatra

He's an excellent showman. That has always been his strong point and has been the driving force behind his success.

I don't own a single Robbie record, but I'd be quite happy to turn up for a sing song. His afternoon turn on the Pyramid in '98 was legendary, and about the only thing I enjoyed in the whole awful wet muddy festival. Can't beat uniting every crusty, goth, emo, indy and weekender hippy in bellowing along to 'Angels'!

I hope it's true - gives me even more reason to see whoever is topping the bill on Sunday in Avalon or the Peel Tent. I loved The Peatbog Faeries last year instead of Blur, and the Proclaimers when Jay Zed was on the year before.

Yeah I saw this on the Daily Xenophobes (Mail) site. I am not a fan of Take That, but they have enough of a back catalogue to do a good singalong set to even rival Gorrilaz!
