I'm loving LittlemissC's fantastic idea, and think it needs a thread of it's own, along with a Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=270274564291

Ok looking at the views of most - how about a posh day with kilts, suits or fancy frocks?

To link us all together, how about a painted mark on one cheek of our faces?

Be funny as hell - I reckon the Sunday being the oldie day and a fab way to see out the weekend?

:P What say you? Come on! :P

Brilliant!

My boss is extremley tight with monney and myslf and my colleges had eard that Lidl do a 20 quid suit! and we made jokes about him wearing it on his wedding day and how it would be a laugh to wear it to work. We work in the woods up trees so get very messey so we was going to do it for a laugh.

But now I have two reasons to buy one :P

Sorry rambled a bit there

Absolutely... go to the poshest town near to you and hunt out the charity shops, the ones for the local charities tend to have the best stuff :P

I'm up for it,

I have a very creasy cream 'summer' suit that I wore to vegas when my and my wife had our vows renewed (no elvis wasn't there). I looked like a sweaty Welsh Don Johnson in 110 degree heat..

Now its been gathering dust for a good few years; perhaps its time to revive it with a miami vice t-shirt and shades?

So Bono and The Edge are gonna walk on stage expecting to see thousands of crusty , dirty

hippies and hoping to really get the Glastonbury / Greenpeace vibe

And they are gonna see thousands of posh people and think they are all from Islington ! and that the hippy vibe is a total fabrication !

:P

    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.
