Yeah, but Glastonbury doesn't tend to be full of middle-aged middle-class mums. So in Glastonbury terms U2 are massively bigger.

(And, for similar reasons [tho a different demographic], Green Day don't much measure up as Glastonbury headliners in my eyes - they're too niche in many ways).

I was simply making a relevant statement in regard to Glastonbury - relevant enough for you to cut off the bit that put it in that context so that you could have your disingenuous rant.

The simple fact is that whatever greater sales Bon Jovi might have had over U2, if Bon Jovi were announced as headliner for Glastonbury there wouldn't be even half the excitement about it as there is over U2.
