Fair enough - you didn't - and neither did I!! To have a constructive opinion on their live act... you've at least have got to have experienced it... otherwise its just Hearsay (and they were proper shite)!!.

For the record, I don't think they are the best live act EVER... just a very very good one.

Well, I cringe everytime I hear a 'pop' cure song come on in a pub or something. If i'd heard the likes of Friday I'm in Love being played on tv, radio or whatever constantly for 6 months it would have annoyed me slightly.

I had a feeling this would be the case, 10 months in advance is a hell of a long time in advance, plus they have just/playing their sold out arena tour and people could be holding out hoping they headline a festival...that's my opinion anyway, got my ticket to see then 11th sept. 2010 :-D hopefully this time next week, when i get paid that there's still a few more so i can bring my gf and a few more mates along

I can't be bothered to quote all of the points made by 'beau1'; so will just give a general response to his points.

When a band get all pretentious, and start releasing awful records, that's when you can start to say they've not got it any more. So I think it all comes down to if you liked Muse's last couple of records - I think they've still got it and 'The Resistance' is a cracking album. But that part can be down to opinion.

Their live set for the arenas might have looked all big and ridiculous, but it was equally remarkable. Before it was revealed I thought they were just 3 pieces of cloth on scaffolding and then the moment it was revelaed showed a remarkably imaginative live set. The pictures might look ridiculous but actually experiencing it all was remarkable. Never seen such an imaginative live set.

And, most importantly you can't comment on a band live if you've never seen them... end of.

If you don't like them fair enough but you can't criticise something you don't properly know.

People say that KOL have turned mainstream in their sound which is bollocks and it's just the fact that sex is on fire was as large as it was and that everybody from mums to chavs liked the song.

Really? Apart from a couple of songs (Crawl, possibly Be Somebody,) Only By The Night shows a clear shift towards the mainstream by the band. Compare Revelry with something like Holy Roller Novocaine and it can't be denied.

This will mark the British outfit’s first appearance at Coachella since 2004 and will come amidst what will likely be a summer chock-full of tour dates in support of the band’s most recent effort, The Resistance.

A separate source confirms that both Hot Chip and The xx will make room in their recently announced U.S. tour and also appear. These latest additions join Devo, Craze & Klever, and As Tall As Lions, all of which have been previously confirmed by other Internet outlets.

Keeping the fun going, Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, The Avett Brothers, and Pavement are all heavily rumored, while Tegan & Sara, Spacemen 3, Pretty Lights, Cornelious, and Imogen Heap are among the others currently appearing on our Coachella Outlook page.

An official lineup announcement is expected to come in late January. Buckle up… the fun is only getting started!

How can you say its becuase they've become too mainstream 'recently'

They sold out 2 wembley dates 2 years ago along with other stadiums with the same ease as this, infact, it was harder to get tickets.

I dont think they have become too mainstream, all theyve done is release a different album testing new ways to go with their sound. If they wanted to, beleive me, they could have made a album full of 'same old muse' tracks which would be alot more popular than having two songs in the charts at 9 + 10.

You must remember that Muse have an exceptional and really quite strange fanbase of absolute nutters. Anytime there's an online poll, they're more than guarenteed to win it with hoards of mental fans voting non stop for days.

You can't knock the speed they sell tickets either. Thats whole tours worth of tickets already sold in like one day.

If you don't like Muse, don't come here trying to slate them, just dont see them.

The fact is they're going to sell out at least 2, if not all 3 Wembley dates, do a lot of stadiums worldwide, the people who going to these concerts are going to love them......

And they're more than likely going to be one of your Glastonbury Headliners.
