And for those who do go for the music, there's such a ridiculous amount of it it's hard not to find something going on that's worth watching.

Edit: ignore that. Not only was it the wrong thread, it wasn't even the right forum

I'm so over Kasabian, seem to have seen them loads. Don't think they are big enough for main stage headline.

U2 are just 'wrong'.. nowhere near the right sort of audience.. I hope. Utte dirge, and Bono makes me want to hurt people (mostly just him though to be fair).

Rolling Stones or Led Zep - that's the sort of thing I'm imagining for Sunday night.

And I've got a sneaky feeling about Take That somewhere too - not headline, obv. Which isn't 'right' either, but has more irony possibility than even U2.

Kasabian struggled with their set before Bruce this year, can't see them headlining next year.

I'd love to see Muse, but, given they've played every festival going recently, not sure they are special enough for a Glastonbury headline act.

I wouldn't mind seeing Muse there again tbh. As for U2 and Kasabian, well... I'm know there will be plenty of other places to go IF they were to headline

I actually like Kasabian and they did have a massive crowd this year, you could see on the BBC footage that every bit of that field was covered and it felt like everyone was up for it, who knows though - most probably were there for Bruce.

I think Muse, Kasabian and someone else will headline T next year and Muse will also do the Friday of Glasto. Just a hunch though.

I think any other year maybe Michael might have been inclined to take a risk on someone like Kasabian, but being the 40th anniversary I don't think he'll take another "fly or fall" risk as he puts it. Muse would be spectacular, obviously. U2, well without being too harsh, they can f**k off!
