Rabid & I went camping in late October last year (when we had to sit in the shade 'cos it was too hot in the sunshine!) and we started our camping season in March this year. That made Winter seem much shorter than it could have done.

We've still got 2 festivals to come (we're off to Alchemy & Thimbleberry) & judging by the weather patterns of the last couple of years, the best weather of the year may still be to come. :D

Yes, it did seem to go quickly this year, possibly because I moved 'further North', which meant that it now rains all the time instead on once or twice a year like it did in London.

Well envious of everyone who has festivals and holidays left to go. Hopefully will attend Levs and Madness gigs at Christmas, and then might even have raised the cash for a skiing holiday in the new year.

Last festival last weekend for me - Jersey Live and glorious weather is was too :-)

Off to Italy on Friday, and then back via London for Coldplay at Wembley then my winter brthday to plan for and a holiday - still got 3 weeks left to take off work before the end of the year so some winter sun beckons me thinks

It's been a darn good summer, and I can;t wait for the next one

Time to settle down to winter, snuggling by the fire, stew, mulled wine and saving pennies ready for summer fun

Aghhh i don't like winter, means i've got to go ugg boot, boot, and closed shoe and welly shopping because i always wreck my boots.

I just love wearing pumps all the time thats my problem!!

I don't love christmas like i used to, i don't find it magical anymore! My birthday soon, so i've got that to look forward to.

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
