Britain’s Got Talent winner Matisse was substituted for a look-a-like stunt dog for the high-wire stunt that won the talent show final.

Matisse’s owner Jules O’Dwyer has revealed that he is afraid of heights, so she used a double called Chase to perform high-rope walking climax on the final of BGT on Sunday night.

“Matisse is a little bit afraid of heights, so although he could officially do it, Chase is the action dog, so he plays the double for him,” O’Dwyer admitted on ITV breakfast show Lorraine on Monday morning. “Every dog has a different character. The tightrope takes months of training.”

Think that definitely puts a different light on it. As the whole concept was Matisse and Jules and nobody really had any reason to believe that it was a different dog doing it.

I'd still say it's a deserved winner because it was a cracking act, but that sort of thing will rightfully sour a lot of people on it.

I thought it was a 90s retro launchpad for a new series. New guests, new music "this is how good the show was......keep watching" etc.

But now it just looks like a load of pointless nostalgia for 90 minutes.

Just finished FARGO, yeah I was late to the party on that one. A couple of minor gripes but mostly brilliant.

Latest Louie season was great I thought, doesn't seem to be drying up at all, last episode was the usual blend of dark and hilarious. I have to pace myself with it though as a binge on it can leave me feeling pretty depressed!

Anyone watching the comedians aswel? It's not bad, but not a patch on things like Curb (or louie)

Just finished FARGO, yeah I was late to the party on that one. A couple of minor gripes but mostly brilliant.

I loved it, but I can see why some people might have been put off by its sprawling, noodley structure and pace.

I actually thought it covered a lot of the same ground as True Detective, but in a much better, smarter and more unassuming way. They both essentially reached the same thematic conclusion, but True Detective reached it by having two heavyweight award winning actors explicitly talking about it, Fargo reached it by having its characters sit down to watch Deal or No Deal.

The only bits that jarred for me was the heavy-handed Judeo-Christian subtext and when Lester entered the lift in Vegas. Yes I know he was a new, confident man but I don't see his motivation in pulling the tail of that particular tiger.

So many good moments though. "Pull your hood up honey, don't want you to get cold". Daaamn that was sheer evil.

Yeah, I thought the casting of Martin Freeman ended up being a stroke of genius. Lester was essentially a deconstruction of the 'nice guy' types Freeman so often plays, proving that being a 'nice guy' is not the same thing as being a good person.

Actually all the casting was clever in that way. I loved the way you slowly came to realise that Bob Odenkirk wasn't just 'bumbling, incompetent sheriff', he was just someone who was burying his head in the sand with regards to all the violence and cruelty building up around him, because the alternative of acknowledging it was just too horrifying.

Damn, I want to watch the whole thing again now.

Yeah, that casting was great, especially given the iconic actors/characters they were taking from the film's template. It wasn't going to be easy to fill William H Macy's everyman-under-pressure shoes, taking over Frances McDormand's sheriff, or for that matter Peter Stormare "woodchipper" killer.

Billy Bob did some great trolling, scaring the kids with the ghost of Freeman's wife, or telling the trucker dad of the two brothers the younger one is slightly retarded (or for that matter phoning the older one to tell him his dad loved the younger one more and all the estate is going to him).

My ex has been going through the seasons of Entourage, from the start currently midway through season 7 as it's on Now TV in the run-up to the film. I hate myself for saying it but I'm kind of enjoying it.

I have to keep reminding myself Adrian Grenier is clearly a gorgeous and decent and lovely human being (writer, musician, actor) with genuine warmth and human kindness and therefore bears absolutely no relation whatsoever to the ugly, vicious, narcissistic self-serving "talent void" brutal racist thug he is allegedly playing (Mark Wahlberg). Yes, Wahlberg's crew was the inspiration for Entourage but they made an early-days decision to skip his criminality, viciousness and racism so in that respect Vincent Chase is to Mark Wahlberg what Dick Shawn/Lorenzo St. DuBois is to Adolf Hitler.

But it is weird, watching a gentile show about humanity based on a guy who in real life is a mendacious neofuckingNazi.

I enjoyed the movie, but there's nothing to get into there. It's the script that keeps it enjoyable.

He is really fun going OTT, the mass-firings with the paintball gun was a joy.
