In, van levelled, gazebo up, in E16, ok bit of a walk but should be easier to get out on Monday, really not sure what the hold up is, just volume I think, no security checks, cursory look at tickets, caravans struggling on the wet grass, no mud in E16. Had no choice, just told where we are going, no layout of pitches, we are pretty much hemmed in but we are in no rush on Monday.

On the way through the field we get the strong smell of clutch coming through the window. We are all joking about the old van in front. Turned out to be ours. Fuck sake! Monday is going to be a nightmare. 

Got 5 days of Glasto until then so really couldn't give a shit right now.

Im on the blue route in a campervan , heading towards the drop off / B&W Showground . Slowly crawling for 6? hours now . Napping , moving, napping etc . Suns coming up now. I'm pretty patient but tbh, this is a proper fuck up.

How long from the Highlander does anyone know? I'm convinced they'll reach a point where they just say there's no more usable field space & turn us all away.

We joined the A37 queue 11 miles out at 2am and moved maybe a mile since then. Quite a few cars turning round. One guy told us the hold up was due to camper vans stuck in the mud. Nothing we can do but wait and be thankful we haven't brought the kids! Hubby reckons if we're on by tea time we should be happy...

After staring at the blue turn off for almost exactly an hour while not a single vehicle moved they've let a bunch of us through.

It's 3 hours since we reached the A37/A361 roundabout

A39 is pretty good. Only hit traffic about a mile or so before the car parks. Moving slowly but shouldn't be too long. Certainly nothing like the East.

I think if we could get out of this stationery traffic we would be halfway home by now. Not a fucking word from official channels - makes me sick! We've not moved for 45 minutes again now.

Hang in there guys, vehicles are going into the East camper van fields pretty steadily, you will make it in the end. Stops that seem like nothing is moving is because camper vans have got stuck. They've got people towing it just takes time. It took us about 6 hours to get from the a361 a37 roundabout into the fields.
