  1. I had about 30 chrome windows refreshing every 2.1 seconds. Got in about 9:09. Absolutely buzzing, its the first time I've managed to get tickets since 2017
  2. 100%, but based on how badly our group did on the main sale I think sacrificing a single device to try it is worth the gamble. The biggest problem is going to be speed, I can't imagine resale tickets will be available for more than a few minutes anyway.
  3. I might be the first on this thread to admit this. Fixed or not I'll be trying the "hack" in the resale while the rest of our group refresh normally.
  4. This is all true if you get put back in the queue once you've bought tickets, but thats not always the case. As such you only need one person out of the entire group to get in and you can buy all the tickets without further queuing. I got nowhere this year but I have personally experienced being able to get back in without queuing in the past, no tricks used.
  5. In my experience the limiting factor is how fast your payment gateway provider can process credit cards, most other parts of the system are pretty easy to scale up
  6. Is this true? I tested the throttler and found that if you access any faster than 60 times per minute (as previously mentioned on this thread) then I got throttled. However using both a normal chrome tab and an incognito tab I was able to refresh both at that rate and neither got throttled. Similarly by increasing the refresh rate on one of the sessions that one would be throttle and the other continued fine. From that I'd infer that its throttled per session not per IP, so a bot could either simulate lots of unique sessions or create a new session for every attempt until successful then hold onto that session. Theres no limit to how many times you can "refresh" with either of those options. Caveat: my testing was done on saturday in preparation so its entirely possible they change the way it works when the sale is active
  7. Its a stupid system. I dont see why they dont just get all the ticket requests and then pick some at random. The only reason for doing it this way is to generate hype
  8. Incognito works by creating new temporary storage for cache etc when you open the incognito window, any data accumulated during the session persists until the incognito window is closed. Closing an individual incognito tab doesn't clear it, only closing the entire window. In theory a website could try to detect you are using an incognito window and block you but it relies on bugs/flaws and google update incognito mode whenever one is found to prevent such blocking. I typically run a normal session and an incognito one during the ticket sale on my personal pc, along with a single session on my phone and another on my work pc connected to the work vpn
  9. Using an incognito tab is a quick way to get a "clean" session if you dont want to clear cookies, data etc.
  10. They try to make sure they overlap as little as possible. Last years clashfinder should give a good idea https://clashfinder.com/s/trnsmt2022
  11. It doesn't, it hadn't asked me for card details yet
  12. Got as far as the "confirm" page, then spinning for ages before telling me all tickets are allocated, now wont even load
  13. desktop with chrome + incognito both auto refreshing work laptop on VPN manually refreshing phone on 4g refreshing when I remember All the reg details and bank card details in notepad++ ready to be pasted in
  14. I think I remember years ago the registration form refusing to accept post codes if they weren't formatted exactly how it expected them. Does anyone know if thats still the case? Our group registration details seem to have post codes with a mix of spaces and no spaces (Apologies if already asked and answered, its a big thread)
  15. Morning, is the 60/minute limit a definite fact or an educated guess?
