Great things you saw this year (excluding music)

So, Glastonbury is not only about music. There is a lot of things happening and I would like to hear or see what did you find this year.

I have to start with four improv comedians I found in Bread and Roses bar. In this scene someone from visitors had to say some country (Japan), then some animal (giraffe) and activity (tennis). So there is japanese specialist talking about giraffe tennis.

I was laughing my ass off for the whole hour I have to say.

3 granny's cruising round the circus feilds on segways that were made up to look like old people's shopping trollys with hardcore techno blasting out

Brilliantly random

I did like them.

The group dressed as seagulls trying to steal people's food while they were eating.

Jeremy Hardy, Josh Widdicombe and Marcus Brigstocke's Policy Unit in the Cabaret Tent.  After 4 Glastonburys I finally made it in there!

Marcus Brigstocke grooving as only large, middle aged white man (and I include myself in that!) can in the Gully to The Skints

The absolutely spangled young chap in an empty Other Stage field who took about 10 minutes to walk 50 yards.  Tried to walk straight through the fence about 3 times, and then somehow managed to gravitate to the only other person within a 50 yard radius (happened to be a young lady on her phone with her back to him), before stumbling at her and executing a perfect rugby tackle on her.

This was at 11am on Thursday morning.

A cabaret act who spent most of his set just annoying the audience. He spent a good while just smearing mayonnaise on people, which is probably the most disgusting thing I saw at the festival.

Good thing he didn't do it to me, it would have ruined my festival.

I have a weird and awful reaction to it.

Oh my god this has just ruined me, i cant stop laughing!

Did you see them Kellly?  Think there were about 5 of them, full body costumes with working beaks.  Poor sod sat n a bench was trying to enjoy his lunch and they kept attacking over his shoulder and flicking falafel everywhere.  Was laughing too hard to get a photo...

They were called Granny Tourismo :)

Hard to pick something. Just wonderful seeing everyone have a brilliant time I wanted to hug every lunatic and idiot.

At West Holts there was a group of lads taking it in turns to climb up one of the flags. One guy got right to the top and held on. Slowwwwly the flag bent over and he got off leaving the flag permanently at about 40 degrees. To be fair to the festival they'd swapped it out after about 10 minutes. There are pictures on my Facebook gallery for the festival (no account required).

Also I'd never been in Bez's Acid House before. We were right there at the front on Sunday/Monday and Bez was dancing away as he does. Other people got on stage to dance and after a bit the crowd gave their approval/disapproval about their dancing - all the ones who were crap were forced to stage-dive into the audience. Dangerous as fuck but who cares.

Watched a performer get 5 blokes up on the Pavement area on Sunday afternoon and the 2 on duty police watching it were enjoying it so much they got up and joined the act and completely stole the show! The performer couldn't actually believe it was happening. Brilliant. Only at Glasto.

3 blokes walking round T&C really slowly with fake bald heads and long coats on freaked me out.

omg he was amazing!! We carried on watching him, he ended up walking through a crowd of girls who were sat down. Toppled over them, then stood up and was checking his phone (he didn't have one in his hands) Then he stood over a poor confused lad, the lad sat there just staring at this swaying mess.

I had a chat with the flag crew over the weekend, and they said they had a problem with 'pole monkeys', and the problem was particularly bad near the Brothers bar.

None of us were sure why. :P
