I see Slash isn't currently rumoured here on efests and hasn't been discussed much.

From what I can tell he is not exclusive to Download and his tour dates suggest that there is a fairly good chance of an appearance. I thought he was great back in 2010 and would love him to return this year. 3rd/4th down on Friday before Foo's?

I'd love it, i think his last album is actually really good, and obviously he does all the classics, he played in 2010, 5 years on? Yeah i think that'd go down a storm.

Nah, this was AGES ago before I stopped! I was flagged off and not talked about until literally now. He's only left a 3 day break twice in his tour and that involves a long plane journey and most likely the rest after the 1st gig back.

He would do, maybe 3/4th on other this time to switch things around a bit.

I always think R&L have missed a trick with him in recent years. Would have slotted into one of their line ups in recent years quite nicely instead of a repeat Deftones/Shikari booking.

But yeah, he'd get a good reception on return to Glasto

Yeah would be good to see slash. Would make up for last time when I opted to watch england get humiliated by the Germans

Rubenz, even worse, I missed him because I just couldnt cope with the heat anymore. Truly awful.

Caught him at Download a while back, played 4 songs from appetite - I was a very, very happy man.

i don't think he'll be there, purely because he's a bit of a novelty act in Glastonbury terms and i don't think they'd book him for a second time in such a short time, but i hope i'm proven wrong - also need to make right missing him in '10 for the football. haven't heard any of his solo stuff, but would be worth it for the couple of Guns N Roses (and Velvet Revolver) songs he plays

Yeah also stupidly decided on the football (well...I was sort of convinced by my mate, I would have been quite happy to have seen Slash regardless of result.)

Could just about it hear it from the football field!

On the plus side I gave up on the football in time for Ray Davies.
