I've been listening to Radiohead's - In Rainbows a lot lately so much so that is my joint favourite album by them (with Ok Computer).

And on YouTube I can't stop listening to David Byrne's - This Must Be The Place (live on Jools Holland in 2004). I can't post the link right now but it's a lovely version.

You Stay Here by Richard Shindell, performed with Show of Hands. We played it has night at a birthday party for one of our Glasto Gang. Incredible powerful song.

Someone just told me Kyle's Can't Get You (Out Of My Head) is a rip of Roxy Music's Loves Is The Drug, so been listening to those two. Kyle's inoffensive infectious pop led me to Spiller/Sophie Ellis Baxtor's Groovejet, and Hanson's MMMbop and the Girl's Aloud version of Jump.

Erm. Quite.

I've been detoxing on The Prototypes Born to Rise, Rotation by DJ Marky, and Send Dem by Serial Killaz.

I'm now musically confused and heading to the pub.

    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
    • Lifelong Carlisle United supporter here.🤦‍♂️ Good luck for the coming Season and see you in October!
    • Any other lower league/non-league supporters on here? It’s all change at my team, Aldershot Town. We’ve released 25 players and the new manager has brought in 21 or 22 completely new players. Going to be an interesting gamble.   There’s a little video here on the reasons why:
