Kneecap coming out strong with a Mayday album release.  I read that they scrapped an album because they felt it was too similar to the debut and wanted something darker and more mature and they've really managed that.  They've also brought out a short film to accompany the closing track, Irish goodbye, which features the mighty Kae Tempest and is a powerful piece of work I'd heartily recommend checking out, pack a hankie though, it's a tear jerker.

I had a shortlist of 5 albums this month, at various times, any of them could've made top 3. Today I'm going with

1. The Reds, Pinks & Purples - Acknowledge Kindness

2. White Denim - 13

3. Lime Garden - Maybe Not Tonight

Runners up Eaves Wilder / deary

Well I thought I had May all sown up, then the last Friday of the month gives me lots of to get through the next few days…. Kip Moore, Willie Nelson, Paul McCartney, The Bug Club, Kurt Vile plus live album releases from Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts and The Highwomen. Current top 3 could easily be completely different
