Bastille are also free on the 15th of August. They used to come to Sziget as often as Macklemore, so there's a chance to have them both on the same day!

Bastille into Macklemore, i'll call it Szigets classic 🤪

People complain about Sombr getting headline slots but at least he's had some commercial success.

Geese (who I like, I hasten to add) are top line at Osheaga purely on the back of critical success, alongside 21 Pilots, The XX and The Neighbourhood (less said about them the better.....)

I wonder if Gerendai's return also means the return of more acts from the world music genre. For example, Dubioza Kolektiv are touring this summer. They play in Spain on the 7th of August and they have another concert there on the 15th but nothing between the two. Last time when they played at Sziget was in 2017 and it has 1.5M views on YouTube.

When I go each day from 11.-15.8 from Battany Ter with the H5 to Filatorigat and back after the concerts, is there a ticket I can buy once for all 5 days? In the past, I bought a ticket every time I got into the train... The Budapest card etc. seems too expensive for that...

There's the possibility to buy a block of 10 tickets for 4500 HUF by using the Budapest GO mobile app. Or two 72-hour Budapest travelcards (5750 HUF each) - these ones allow you to take any public transport in town as many times as you want, except boat.

There's a 15 day card that we always buy - costs around 17 euros iirc. Saves buying two separate ones.

BudapestGo app is all you need.

As @billybigballs I always get the 15 day version, covers the entire trip.

15 day card got canned last year, but the monthly card is still good value (8950HUF, about 24 Euros). Or, if you really only use the H5 twice a day, the block of ten tickets is a good option for 4500 HUF, about 12 Euros)

Well thats inconvenient. Although only £10 more for the monthly, rather than the 15 day. So you can't grumble for a 10 day trip.

My bet is:
Sofi Tukker - Pick Up The Phone
They had a headline gig at Budapest Park last summer.

They've got 4 European festivals in June, playing in the US a week after Sziget, so it's doable.
