Im dreaming but nick cave and the cure on the same lineup would rock and shift some week tickets for the older festival die hard.  Throw in Sabrina for a pop day and the festival is looking good.  The foos may be around, always put on a good show.  Could be one of the strongest lineups in Europe.

other possibles are gorillaz- always amazing, massive attack for the dance act.

they need to go for quality over popularity,  get the best live acts out there,  not nessasily the most expensive.

i wouldn't consider massive attack a dance act

Shall we just ignore than other posters get added to different threads now for your sake?

Perhaps you need something stronger than coffee...

He/she did comment on Sziget candidates in relation to the poster. I would presume everyone could work it out, except yourself. Hey ho. 😃

Could we see Twenty One Pilots headline/co-headline and The xx in the 'Justice' A38 spot or is it headline or nothing for them?

If this actually happens cos no dates so far is crazy

Yeah im more concerned on dates, seems even the organisers don't know. Perhaps they are deciding what headliners they can get.

I can't see The XX in the justice position. Personally its headline or not. They usually have a couple of weak headlibers, although id be surprised if they played.

Can see The XX headlining Pukkelpop, Rock en Sein, WOW and perhaps Roskilde.

I’m getting more concerned about the date and if it’s actually happening or not day by day. I know communication is not their forte, but this is worrying.

It is strange.

Super early bird tickets were August last year, early bird tickets October.

I would be worried if nothing is announced by mid Nov. Im looking elsewhere for my late summer already, Rock en Seine looks enticing.

I have my eye on Way out West this year and Paredes de Coura again

So it was still a frequency poster in a sziget thread then where there could be a miscommunication?, I rest my case.

Maybe you need to an open minded to different possibilities context can be looked at, but still, hey ho on that as well lol.

Especially if you don't read the post for context, totally agree with you.

They've made some reassuring comments on people's Insta posts today. One of them is:

"Take a deep breath, everything's on its way. Just a tiny bit more patience..."

Shame they’re waiting for so long. We had to make the decision to go to primavera next year bc i have some friends who already had to submit their vacation dates at work. Couldn’t wait any longer.

I'm also thinking about going to a different festival, InMusic announced Gorillaz as their first headliner and they are one of my favourite bands 🤷‍♂️

That an issue, especially when they are after the international customer. Flights will start going up, people making plans.

Its a poor business model for me.

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
