Certainly scope for her to play a 6 day festival.

Although no Budapest date on a Feb/Mar tour, isn't a indication either way for me. I would expect her to play European festivals in countries on the tour. Certainly one off werchter or pukkelpop, more likely pukkelpop. Which could point her doing the Sziget, Oya, Way out West, Pukkelpop, all points east, rock en seine route.

Last time she had to cancel Pukkelpop, Lowlands, Rock en Seine and a few others, so I'd imagine she'll make up for those

Perhaps Shakira hasn't much popularity in Europe. Looking at her tour, she's been touring since the start of 2025.

No Eurooean dates, constantly in North and South America.

She won't headline.

I think you all underestimate her success lol

so IF she comes to Sziget, no chance she only subhead... we'll see ! 😉

I’m on the no way she would headline in Europe in 2025 team.

As am I. I reckon I know half-a-dozen of her songs and none of them have been released in the past 15 years. As Sziget is clearly looking toward a younger demographic going forward, having her headline would be laughable tbh.

Yes. Also,Kylie wasn’t a great success either, and I still think she has the legend status which Shakira doesn’t.  At least not in Europe

What do yall think, how likely is for Gorillaz to headline Sziget in 2026? They had a month long exibition in London with 4 concerts at the end, and tomorrow they are performing Plastic Beach in full and on 3rd September they are doing mistery show (probably new album in full) and last time they were at Sziget was in 2018. (that was also my first time and reason I came to Sziget) They were also one of the suggested names on the wish machine 🤠

If I was a betting man (and I am) I would put my money on Gorillaz being there tbh. They seem to be liked by pretty much everyone so a pretty safe booking and it looks likely that they will be around.

I'm at the gig on Wednesday, so I'll let you know what they play!

A friend of mine was the head of the helpers this year, apparently there’s been some murmuring about Sziget not happening this year amongst the security crew. But probably just the same rumours.
Also lot more “incidents” this year than in previous years.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
