Florence just announced the new album.

Nice 'cheap' headliner for them. But, third time in six editions might prove too much.

Was looking at some of Chase and Status's performance at Pukkelpop earlier. I think they'd bring the vibe and energy to Sziget. Not sure if they're big enough to headline or not though. Be an amazing sub for someone.

Really think that if we are waiting on a big act being announced, they may be balanced by smaller acts such as Florence, C&S, Yungblud etc.

I’d happily take them. They were at Strand festival last year and coming to Budapest Park in September - both times with a dj set…

I was wondering what's the difference between their DJ set vs their regular performance? I mean, aren't they two DJs anyway? Are they normally playing Baddadan on a flute or something?

With live set they have drums, synths and a guitar as well. It's much much better. It's legit a concert with their songs rather than DJ set which is essentially who knows what drum and bass songs. Seen both and their LIVE sets are brilliant, sometimes reaching Prodigy live vibes. They usually have a few singers join them, but yes rest of vocals come from the tape. See these

Just read some rumours regarding Maneskin’s comeback. If it turns out to be true I definitely see them as one of the headliners next year.

I cant seem them having more than 1 rock headliner. With Foo Fighters heavily rumoured for reading/Leeds, it has to be them. Especially as every time they have headlined, they have sold very well. Bit of a no brainer for me.

That's true, but they had good support that day back in 2019. Twenty One Pilots were kind of co-head (listed as headliner on poster as well) and had great turnout and also some decent rock names were there, such as Idles, John Marr and Frank Carter. Something similar would be needed next year too.

Foo Fighters would sell on there own, was a cracking day though.

Sziget weirdly didn't bring Maneskin or Damiano last 5 editions since they become global hit after Eurovision so can't see why would that change.

They usually follow Isle of MTV Malta, because Alok and Nelly performed before. If Damiano David or DJ Snake continues touring, they will call and try to get them, for sure.

Strand Festival (a smaller Hungarian festival normally a week after Sziget) will announce their exact date for next year early-September. I'm wondering if that's because of Sziget announcing it in the first days of September as well.

Someone said on Reddit that Sziget officials said they will announce the dates and start the early bird tickets in September because they want people to get their next salary. Might be bs, but also makes sense in a way.

I've just seen this: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1361277508687659&set=a.383891086426311 Could be this is what we're waiting for?

I highly doubt it. They will milk this cow as long as possible. Can’t see them at festivals next year, even if the do festivals, I doubt Sziget has the funds for them.

How legit are these though…I mean I’m sure they will do Knebworth, but the rest

I'm following him since years and most of his leaks were legit. He is a French journalist and radio presenter. But of course this poster could be absolute fake as well.

    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
