its a reflection on the metal can you numbskulls??

It's not though is it, because reflections are a mirror image, and the pink bit on the Blossoms tin has a white stripe that is not on the Rick Astley one.

Who are the headliners? Courteeners, FBS & Gabrielle? Or Blossoms been promoted?

I love Blossoms and seen The Courteeners about 16 times so quite a fan but wow it’s such lazy line up. Will be the third time Blossoms, Courteeners and Rev have played the same festival whilst it’s been in Hillsborough Park

Courteeners as headliner is the laziest booking.  At least if Blossoms were headliner they have not done the big gig before, and think they have come on loads so deserve it.

If it is Wolf Alice think along with FBS and Blossoms would have been excellent.

Hoping the likes of Brogeal, CVC, Sam Scherdel and Lilacs are on the undercard.

Happy enough with that. Truck the one that appeals most to me of the three (Y Not/Tramlines/Truck), but there's acts I want to see every day here, which is a HUGE improvement on last year for me.

Think the headliners are a really strong group to, don't care for Slim but won't deny it's a solid pick, and Courteeners only look "weak" cause of repeat booking. Wolf Alice a great choice.

    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
    • And all (or all but one) of the secret sets repeats though?
    • 1. Coming with my sister (our 4th Sziget together) 2. 3 days (Thursday-Saturday). Would rather do Tuesday-Thursday but not enough AL 😞 3. Wednesday evening  4. Apartment  5. FATM (will be my 10th Florence’s gig) 6. Parcels/Paris Paloma
    • Temperature was the main issue - luke warm at best
