I think it was mainly wishful thinking, tbf. Happy enough to be seeing her supporting Pulp in Manchester - that's a proper Sheffield day out!

Sunday looks great fun, the rest is absolute shite (imho 😁). Day ticket for the Sunday is tempting me already though.

Friday is fun, not a massive fan of Kaisers but them into FBS looks a feel good Friday atmosphere party to me to start the weekend. 
 

Saturday looks weak in terms of them two playing what feels like every year. 
 

Sunday feels like a proper modern festival day.  

In the price bracket I’m not sure who else they could have signed tbh that would freshen up the festival? Kings of Leon at a push but they seem a bit past their prime too? Personally would have liked someone like the Pet Shop Boys just for the nostalgia. As much as I love James that would have been a step backwards too as a headliner, same with someone like the Charlatans. 
 

Not easy to please everyone but there’s something for most as it stands for a still pretty cheap festival.

Considering I paid £75 odd for courteeners in Manchester the month after (with the support bill also at tramlines) and some £60 for Wolf Alice next month, £175 for tickets is a bargain. And that was tier 4, some will have paid around £130-140. Value wise that's hard to beat.

FBS is easily a £70 act too.

Very happy with paying £130 for that line up.  My only concern is there is so much stuff there will be clashes.

 

My Daughter is so happy as loves Blossoms, Courteeners, The K's, Lilacs, Freddie Halkon, Royston Club etc.

No one is going to fully love a festival line up. They have produced a mixed bag of artists where at least most customers will see a handful of bands they already love, and hopefully a few new ones they discover.

It does based on the day and price yes. Obviously the difference of a day vs a weekend is needing to take more time off and enough to do it for. I'd definitely only go for Friday if I did as the rest apart from The Enemy is poor but that's me. Not fussed on either of Wolf Alice or Wet Leg but I can see them being nice gets for others.

What's so special about Kendal Calling's 2025 lineup compared to Tramlines 2026? Loads of crossover, roughly acts of similar size (subjective) in each slot, and 2 of the same headliners. Are you just a massive Prodigy fan or something? Because looking at them side by side, I certainly don't see how Tramlines looks "embarrassing" in comparison.

It will be interesting to see how the Sunday sells. It's great to finally see a female-led headliner, but their current arena shows are coming up on TfG so may not be doing as well as they hoped. Slightly odd offer of c. £25 for 4 tickets for the Manchester show, although Birmingham was booking fee per ticket.

I think Wolf Alice might've got a bit unlucky with the timing of that Manchester show. Clashes with both Kneecap & The Hives, I reckon the fan bases of all 3 have a reasonable amount of crossover. I'd certainly be at Wolf Alice if I didn't already have a Kneecap ticket.

Just as long as they don't suffer the same fate as Supergrass. Never seen a headliner get a smaller crowd.

Felt so sorry for them as musically they were brilliant.

Definitely thought Kendal was the one bedt one lineuo wise out of that, Y not, Truck and Tramlines easy. Victorious did well with VW, KOL and Bloc Party but Kendal had the best of the rest helped by an anniversary year. Wombats subbing also decent there with the extra crossover from others.

There seems to be a lot of variations given they sold out one show at London O2, are close to selling out the other and by the look of it Leeds is close to a sell out. Least that's how it looked when I had to list tickets there for sale.
