Will be interesting to see what sort of impact (if any) this has on Tramlines/Truck moving forward.
This is surely good news to hear for the locals that it'll be well looked after while ever the festival is located there.
From what I've seen since last year's absolute washout the park has recovered pretty well. Of all the years we've attended it's never been as bad as it was last year and doubt it will be that bad again for while (cue this year being just as bad 😅).
Yeah that's actually a good point. We usually have the Saturday as our 'child-free' day but our 7-year-old daughter is coming with us this year as she's a massive Tom Grennan fan so it'll be a little different for us this year regardless.
We've got tickets as we are local and have always gone, but yeah, outside of these 3 the Saturday is probably one of the worst (if not the worst) that they've ever had. Going to need something pretty good to pull it back IMO. Friday line-up blinds the Saturday for me.
Paolo headlining Friday (BBC sub), Jamie T Saturday (Tom Grennan sub) and Snow Patrol Sunday (Human League sub).
The Snuts, Example, Maximo Park, The View, The Charlatans, Miles Kane, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Yard Act and Soft Play also all playing.
From what I can find on Twitter, these were the ones sent out on bottles last year:
Richard Ashcroft
Kaiser Chiefs
Courteeners
Paul Heaton
Blossoms
Sugababes
DMAs
Which from looking at the poster, both special guests (The Zutons/McFly) were both obviously missing, plus a few other of the bigger names like Bloc Party.
