Outbreak 2026

Yeah it says "the first bands for our friday show" that definately leans towards indie/emo/alternative, maybe the odd rap act or so but I think thats why esdee and jpeg got booked for london, I can't see another fully fledged hardcore day going by the last couple year, would be surprising why they wouldnt have any announced first time around

Does it? I don't see any hints that it's going to be any particular genre in that wording. Just a standard announcement saying the Friday line up is going to be announced.

Love it! But the prices are still too much. Also it doesn't matter if you bought 2-day tickets before and now upgrade Friday, it's the same price as 3 days now.

I see £40 for Friday if you bought a weekend ticket already (it's £67 for just Friday, which I do feel is steep for the average punter). Seems good value to me. TFB tickets on the last tour were around that price. Obviously, depends on how much you rate TFB, but that's true of any lineup, I suppose. How much you like the bands will determine what is good value.

I think the prices are better value than some of the competition like Slam Dunk, who charge £140 for a single day.

£220 for a weekend is roughly comparable with 2000 Trees prices, albeit that is a camping festival so you would need to calculate accommodation costs differently.

Obviously depends on how much you personally like each lineup, but for me this Outbreak lineup is much better than either of the two other fests mentioned above.

My ticket email says "includes 2 Front Section Wristband", anybody know how that works?

Does that guarantee front section access because only a limited number of ticket holders get a wristband, or does everybody get front section access and it's a standard gated system (locked once it's full and you have to wait for space to open up) like at say Leeds Festival?

Everyone gets access you just need to sign a waiver for insurance purposes

What I mean that the prices with fees are:

- buying a 2-day ticket before today + upgrading is £179 + £45 = £224

- buying a 3-day ticket now is £224

So you don't get anything for buying before the announcement

I'm not from the UK so most of the concerts/festivals here are kinda pricey for me 🙂

Anyway, the lineup is brilliant and I love TFB so see you there

Ah I see. Cheers. Assume there is no access to bars/loos in the front section, so will have to be strategic about how early I lock myself in.

Ah, okay, got you. Yes, agreed that's sort of crap. Anybody buying a festival ticket prior to the lineup being confirmed should get a decent discount.

Friday and Saturday line-ups are right up to my street. I did have a weekend ticket but will sell that on and adjust my hotel booking, have purchased Friday and Saturday now. Touche Amore > PUP > Alexisonfire is a legendary run, and I am a fan of all the bands on Friday

From memory you can go back and forth pretty comfortably, I don't think it really hits capacity in the way you're thinking as the crowd moves around a lot to indoor stages etc. Front wristband is mostly just to avoid Outbreak taking any blame if you get hurt.

Cheers for the details. I'm a planner, so I want to know the score ahead of time, and to save my partner from being sulky cause otherwise I'd be making her queue from doors!

Presale link, use your email address as discount code if you've already bought weekend tickets to save some money.

Ah weird that you don't get a presale link even if you have weekend tix. Guess I'll wait til tomorrow (unless anyone wants to DM me a link!)

It's super easy to get to the front section for any band. Even getting there 5-10 mins before will be fine. The only time I didn't get into the front section straight away was for Basement in 2024 as I wanted to watch all of Chat Pile so I got there like just after they came on and even then I just had to wait 5 mins to get in as it's one in and one out and then for Sunami as we got there like 5 mins before they came on and it was one in and one out again but I was in there before they came on. Like someone has said before, people tend to come and go from the different sections and I assuming (and hoping) that there will be a 2nd stage for the Friday.

    • Sorry matey.  Always a nightmare when you have a plan and something scuppers it.   Happy myself, fills a nice little gap for me. Lucky so far really.     I’d have preferred an alternative too to break up the 21 pilot set but shan’t complain
    • Happy with the name, unhappy with what it did to the lineup. Now I have to choose between Florence Road and Beirut 😞 and still no alternative to 21p.
    • Odd and rare for RW indeed! I even remember reading in the past that one of the reasons for certain bands not appearing there, were similar demands being rejected. It’s weird that they play after Gorillaz and even more weird that there won’t be an alternative. All they had to do was push Pixies to later.
    • Klymaxx (The classic lineup) are rumoured to be back together and planning shows.    100k at this. Pyramid field shut down from the bandstand
    • Self Esteem on TfG for the new BA venue in London next week   Also McFly at the Piece Hall, and several for Llangollen summer sessions.   I think is starting to show the new unused inventory platform starting to kick in. Could be be seeing a lot more last minute stuff from now on.
